1200 Semi Displacement Launched

In August we had the pleasure of handing over a 1200 semi displacement cat, designed by Roger Hill.

This boat has a number of awesome features that make overnighting and fishing a pleasure on board. Starting in the cockpit this boat features a bait station island, providing a great spot for dealing with fish, whilst other anglers are still able to walk around the deck. Double seating and a removable table transform this space from being a place to catch fish to being a place to sit back and enjoy a meal.

Moving inside the main cabin features a galley to the starboard, with seating and dining to the port side. Up front is a large double helm station. Forward raked windscreens reduce glare and provide a striking profile.

Underneath both hulls have a double berth forward with an ensuite bathroom aft making this boat very comfortable for travelling with friends.

This boat runs on twin 230hp Yanmars, giving the owner a 18-19knt cruising speed using 2.5 litres per nautical mile and has a max speed of 26 knts.

The Mt Maunganui based owners are planning to travel all around New Zealand in their new boat – we wish them happy travels!
