15m gamefisher cat ready for Pacific action

The third major launching this September was the 15m Kingfishercat “Double Hooked”. Powered by 450hp Caterpillar diesels the planing cat achieved 32 knots during initial trials in Tauranga. As a dedicated gamefisher destined for American Samoa, “Double Hooked” features a massive cockpit, Cyril Jordon gamechair, aft bridge controls, air conditioning, and Garmin electronics.

Whitianga ferry for 63 passengers launched

Maketu Coastguard have new boat

The Maketu Coastguard unit has taken delivery of their new Robson 11m vessel.
