New 450 Centre Console for Waikato Police

Kingfisher boats is proud to have worked with NZ Police to deliver a 450 Centre Console to the Waikato Police in time for summer.

The unbeatable stability was key to the Police’s decision to go with the 450 Centre Console, with 4 people on one side and minimal tipping in a 4m boat it makes it the ideal platform for the type of work being undertaken on the river.

With minor customisations for river recovery by Search and Rescue the boat will be an awesome asset for the Waikato police to assist in river related incidents. Featuring a drop-down bow ladder, our flush front, rails for the Jasons Cradle, Police radios, and a 70hp Yamaha powering it, the boat has great, practical features and was able to get a top speed of 30 knots.

The NZ Police were chuffed that Kingfisher boats were able to deliver the Waikato police boats both in time and under budget and that the boats performance exceeded all expectations.
