New builds keep skilled staff busy

Alloy Cats design and build aluminium boats from 3.7m minicats to 18m luxury pleasure craft – and the demand has never been higher.

New boats in the minicat range are leaving the yard one after the other right now while larger designs by both Kingfisher and Roger Hill have floor space stretched to capacity.

There is also a 15.5m Naiad Rib for the Auckland Coastguard well underway. Other vessels include the 4th 12m displacement cat, and another slightly larger displacement cat. Soon to be started are an 8m Kingfishercat and a further Roger Hill displacement cat.
